Brussels By Night is a non-profit organization (ASBL) whose mission is to highlight the nightlife sector and its actors such as clubs, promoters, night bars, concert halls and festivals within the Brussels-Capital Region and to provide a better night-time ecosystem for the people.
The idea of a Brussels nightlife federation was first raised in early 2020. Following discussions with the Brussels-Capital Region, the founders of BBN started contemplating the existence of a structure representing nightlife professionals. After months of meetings, including both the sector and the public authorities, it was decided to set up Brussels by Night, dedicated to becoming a representative union of nightlife professional players focused on the public needs.
Today, on the one hand, Brussels by Night aims to promote and enhance the role of Brussels as a national and international key player in terms of nightlife and festivities. On the other hand, it accompanies the professionals and ensures the role of moderator between public authorities and the sector regarding various issues and challenges which the actors may face in terms of safety, public health, employment, mobility, law, administration, communication, etc
